Central
Park is a famous and interesting place in N.Y. New York's Central Park
is the first urban landscaped park in the
United States. It was opened
to the public in 1876. Central Park, a big park with lakes and a zoo, is
in the middle of Manhattan near the famous art galleries and museums.
It's located on 59th street and Fifth Avenue. South of
Central Park is an area with famous avenues: Broadway and Fifth Avenue.
This area has many shops and theaters. With an incredible freedom
and variety of recreation, everyone in the park is doing their thing:
jogging, hiking, cycling, sunning, and playing volleyball, listening to
outdoor concert or just strumming guitars. Don't miss romantic Bethesda
Fountain on the Boat Pond, the sheep Meadow's spectacular skyline, the
John Lennon memorial, and strawberry fields. Everyone can spend
wonderful times and smell a pleasing scent flowers and trees in spring
times, or amusedly skis in the winter.
